May 10, 2010 -
Claremont Savings Bank is pleased to announce it is accepting requests for the seventh round of annual grants from the CSB Foundation. President and CEO Sherwood C. Moody stated that this year’s deadline is June 1, 2010. Approximately $75,000 will be awarded in this round of grant making.
Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply. Grants are expected to be approximately $1,000 to $5,000 in size, although consideration will be given to applications that fall outside this range if documentation supports the nature of the request. Priority will be given to non-profit organizations operating in Claremont, Cornish, and Charlestown New Hampshire. Other guidelines are included in the Application Packet.
In his announcement, Mr. Moody stated that the Foundation has made grants totaling over $360,000 to non-profit groups in Claremont and surrounding communities in New Hampshire and Vermont. He added that CSB has a long history of giving both in the form of donations to area civic organizations and as volunteer activities undertaken by employees of Claremont Savings Bank.
Application packets including information, guidelines and application form are available at any branch office of Claremont Savings Bank, or on the CSB website at claremontsavings.com.
