CSB Foundation Donates $76,500 in Grants to 30 Local Organizations
Jun 29, 2011 - The Claremont Savings Bank Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded grants totaling $76,500 to 30 different non-profit and civic organizations throughout the Upper Valley for 2011. A grant from the CSB Foundation allows these great projects to continue to move forward to maximum their impact on our community.
During its ninth year of pledging money to deserving organizations, this year’s recipients represent a wide range of targeted needs throughout Claremont, Newport, Charlestown, and surrounding towns. Since 2003, the CSB Foundation has donated over $513,000.
Some of this year beneficiaries include the Claremont Opera House, Family School Connections in Claremont, Library Arts Center, Claremont Garden Club, Claremont Soup Kitchen and Performers’ Playground. Other nonprofit programs which received funding from the Claremont Savings Bank Foundation are included below.
